  • Founder

Alora grew up obsessed with politics from a young age and then found herself unexpectedly distracted by the early days of the internet industry. Now, nearly thirty-years later, she is getting back to what originally mattered to her most: justice, dignity and freedom.

As a first generation American and third generation entrepreneur, Alora categorically rejects the idea that punching down is a sign of power or that what ever made America great was based on being bullying assholes.

There are a great many things we need to change if future generations are going to be given the opportunities we were given, and Get Off the Mat focuses on where Alora is prepared to start.

  • Marketing

As a serial entrepreneur — and the descendent of entrepreneurs — Kari is deeply steeped in the value of stepping up to solve problems, rather than just sitting back and bitching.

Kari’s passion is in helping people with grit and determination accomplish their dream, without having to worry about ICE showing up on your doorstep or inserting male politicians into a woman’s medical decisions.

As the mother of two grown children, Kari is deeply committed to the idea that the world we leave behind matters, and we better get our shit together if we hope to leave them anything worth inheriting.

  • Advisor

Growing up in the rural south, Elijah lived through a time where he saw crosses burned on his front lawn — and when calling the local sheriff presented a problem, because they were part of the KKK who was doing the burning in the first place.

Elijah is a brand-and-experience-obsessed strategist focused on remarkability, because every choice is a chance to stand out or blend in. And if you want to make a difference, you have to stand out.

Elijah's life’s work is building a system-building, problem-solving engine. His methodology is remarkability. Start with why is great, but let’s get to how.
